Since opening its first restaurant in 1987, B.R. Guest founder Stephen Hanson
and his team have redefined the restaurant experience through an emphasis on
hospitality and quality.
Coconut Grill, B.R. Guest's first restaurant, opened on Manhattan's Upper East
Side. Since then, B.R. Guest has expanded to include fourteen dining destinations, one nightlife spot,
and one private event space with more on the way. Currently, the group includes:
From cutting-edge design to jazz entertainment, B.R. Guest restaurants never cease to provide customers with an innovative dining experience.
Charity
B.R. Guest is also committed to supporting the civic and
charitable efforts
in the communities it calls home. Currently, the company generously and regularly contributes time and resources to Share Our Strength, City-Meals-On-Wheels, American Cancer Society, Publicolor, World Wildlife Federation, PENCIL, Momentum AIDS Project, God's Love We Deliver, American Heart Association, The James Beard Foundation and Windows of Hope.
Environmental Stewardship
In early 2007, Hanson inked a deal with hospitality giant Barry Sternlicht
which appointed B.R. Guest as the exclusive restaurateur in Sternlicht’s 1'
Hotel and Residences, the first luxury, eco-friendly global hotel brand.
In June 2007, B.R. Guest took its obligation to the environment one step further
by becoming the first national multi-concept restaurant group to be certified
Green by the Green
Restaurant Association for its incorporation of sustainable practices within
the restaurants.
The Future
2008 proved to be a busy year for B.R. Guest Restaurants opening Dos Caminos
Las Vegas in the Palazzo Resort Hotel & Casino in February and our newest concept,
Wildwood Barbeque on Park Avenue South in April. 2009 will certainly see more
expansion! Sixteen properties later (and growing), B.R. Guest is one of the most
successful hospitality groups in the country - a testament to the foresight,
dedication
and passion of the entire B.R. Guest team.
